A: We are dedicated to providing an authentic Japanese experience. Our products fall into the following categories:

Imported from Japan: Certain items (like Satsuma Kiriko glasses(薩摩切子) and specific Nishijin-ori textiles) are crafted by Japanese artisans and imported directly from Japan. These will be clearly labeled as "Imported from Japan" in the product description.
Japanese Craftsmanship, Made Overseas: Some products (like certain folding fans and Shibori(絞り - tie-dye) items) are meticulously created using traditional Japanese techniques, sometimes in workshops outside of Japan, to ensure authenticity and a more accessible price point.
Japanese Design Inspiration: A select range of products (like some Bori fabric bags) are original designs that blend Japanese aesthetics with modern functionality.
